Victory Gardens

The Victory Garden program is a combination of donated gardening space and the personal efforts of local gardeners.

Some gardeners have committed to planting extra in their gardens specifically for donation and others give of their abundance, we call this gleaning.

There are also official Victory Garden Farms of Helping Hands. These gardens grow for the sole purpose of giving fresh produce in the weekly food distribution. These gardens and farms are all organic and use the best organic amendment to assure that the produce is of the highest quality and nutritional value.

This program is run by master gardeners and staffed by volunteers who are dedicated to giving clients the best food there is to offer.
