Helping Hands Pantry is partnering with the city of San Bernardino and the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County to support homeless kids on the weekends.

In the city of San Bernardino there are approximately 2700 kids who are homeless. These kids go to school each weekday and receive food. However, on the weekends they do not have any way to get food.

Currently we deliver backpacks to 465 kids every week that they are in school. We also use this opportunity to communicate other opportunities for these kids and families in need by placing flyers about other programs in with the food.
